• Leading YES Dominican Republic from 2004, she was part of the team that organized the International Seminary of Youth Social Entrepreneurship in 2007.
• Polanco, was in partnership with the Association of United Nations of Dominican Republic - ANURD and was also part of the organizing team of the First National Contest of Young Entrepreneurs in her country.
• Her vision is to help the young people contribute towards making a better present and the future, one which has no barriers, but only sees possibilities and equity.
• Founded NEDEMP in 2002 - a tourism business to sell utility and decorative pieces to hotels and other private institutions across the country.
• She has participated in the YES Latin America forum (Paraguay 2005,) and in the meeting of YES Alexandria 2007 in Egypt.
• Has specialization in Marketing and is also the President of an organization of young professionals.
