- Founded YES Ghana Network in 2002, as nonprofit organization that helps youth succeed in becoming life-long learners,
productive members of society, materially sufficient, and self-respecting citizens.
- His vision is of developing a world class centre for excellence for youth development.
- Initiated various programs, including a career resource centre, MDG Youth Project, youth development dialogue series, Canadian
education and training awards, all of which are helping many young people transition to meaningful ives.
- Raised over US $50,000 from key partners such as UNDP, UNMC, and CBIE.
- Was selected as YES Renewable Energy Fellow and youth spokesperson for the MDGs on the occasion of UN Global Youth
Leadership Summit.
- Serves as a member of UN country team civil society advisory committee in Ghana and Africa youth panel of the Danish Africa
commission; was African Representative, UNEP Youth Advisory Council; Coordinator, Children and Youth Caucus of United
Nations Commission on Sustainable Development
- Attained global exposure at YES Global Summits held between 2002 and 2008; Thematic Conference on youth and employment in
Africa; LSU Global Conference on Climate Change and Globalisation, Sweden; 16th Session of the United Nations Commission on
Sustainable Development; UNECA Africa Development Forum V, Ethiopia; UN Global Youth Leadership Summit; United Nations
Climate Change, Conference (COP11/MOP1), Canada, etc.
- Has a master of arts degree in governance and sustainable development, and a bachelor of arts degree in political science with key
expertise in the areas of youth development policy, practice and research.
