  • Founded YES Pakistan Network in 2002
  • His vision is to create a society where all young people including socially -excluded female youth are treated as the most promising resource for the socioeconomic development of the country.
  • Played a pioneer role in introducing and institutionalizing the concept of youth service and youth social entrepreneurship in the country. Assisted over 50 youth-serving institutions in designing and implementation of youth-led service projects. Assisted over 3000 young people in establishing community-based micro social enterprises.
  • Raised US $100,000 from key partners such as British council, American Jewish World Service, Catholic Board of Education, Global Knowledge Partnership, Pacific Institute for Women’s Health, etc.
  • Was awarded/ selected - Ashoka Fellowship, Architect of the Future Award (Waldzell Institute), Youth Social Enterprise Initiative Fellowship (GKP), Population Council Fellowship, Government College Color, and University Blue. Sauvé Scholar Award.
  • Serves as a member of board of International Association for National Youth Service, external examiner for Punjab University.
  • Attended YES Alexandria 2002 and 2009, YES Mexico 2004, Global Entrepreneurship Congress in Kansas City, USA, Civil Society Conference in Manchester, UK, GKP Conference in Malaysia. Youth Technical Meeting in Japan, Waldzell Meeting in Austria, Global Philanthropy Forum in USA, etc
  • Has a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Political Science. Studied one year M-A Social Work in McGill University as a Sauve Scholar in Canada. Participated in communication courses in Johns Hopkins University.
