• Leading YES Network since 2007, YES Peru started in 2002 as a nonprofit organization that is working towards forming strategic alliance between the civil Societies, the State and the business sector so that the Peruvian youth may have a better quality of life and sustainable employment.
• YES Peru’s vision is to improve youth livelihoods especially from vulnerable groups taking into account the environmental, social and economic impacts in the country.
• Founded VIDA in 1992, the YES Peru host agency, working across Peru to promote environmental conservation and natural resource conservation with the goal towards sustainable development.
• Jointly raised value finance, logistic and legal support for many initiatives, mainly in Callao and Lima. He has mobilized support from thousands of people and stakeholders to work for preservation of the environment. He has brought improvement in the lives many poor communities through projects in waste management, replanting forest, managing coastal ecosystems, lead reduction, renewable energy, as well as cultural interchanges, sport activities, and job creation.
• Currently he is an independent consultant who has worked for the government, international organizations and the non profit sector. Recently he won the Prize “Natural” given by the Natural Company and Pan-American TV to the best Green NGO that participated in a reality show on the national television.
• Attended international and national conferences as speaker and participant and was a part of the YES Panama Forum 2008.
• Volunteers time for working on environment, youth and sustainable development for the last 30 years and has been widely recognized by media and key political stakeholders.
