Vision : To advocate for youth entrepreneurship and employment and thereby create
employment opportunities for youth.
About the Network : Hosted by the NGO -Masar, based in Amman and works in the fields of
youth, media, democracy, education and human rights. The network has 100 members
comprising youth, government, civil society and private sector.
Current Major Initiatives:
- Crossing Borders’’ magazine (CB) is a regional youth magazine, in English to train
young journalists.
- Organized joint workshops with host agency and exchanged expertise.
- A project titled 'Gender Equality in Employment and Small Enterprises' was successfully
piloted and ready for further scaling up and expansion.
- Provided consulting for the Cross Border Cooperation Project for Jordan, Palestine,
Syria and Lebanon. It aims to achieve gender equality in employment and enterprise.
- Generate better information about the sources of information of different target groups
in the ENPI countries, their awareness, understanding and perception of the EU and the
role it plays in their respective countries.( Not clear)
Key Accomplishments :
- Formed partnerships with European Union, Friedrich Eibert Foundation, US State
Department, Anna Lindh Foundation and Danish Foreign Ministry to launch a number of
pilot projects with the objective of scaling up and expanding with additional funding
support.
